RIDGE MOUNTAIN GEAR creates tools for spending time in the mountains, and for simplifying the daily life.
RIDGE MOUNTAIN GEAR has an atelier in Zushi City, Kanagawa Prefecture, and makes simple, long-lasting tools, one by one.
This "Enough Hat" was created because Mr.Kurosawa, the representative, was having trouble with his ears being exposed to the sun when wearing a cap while walking along a ridge at high altitude in the summer.
It is based on the "Basic Cap," which Mr. Kurosawa himself, who has a slightly large head circumference, can wear with ease and without stress.
The main part of the cap is made of Toray's Stunner®, a 100% nylon material that is water repellent, windproof, and permeable. It prevents discomfort caused by sweating while protecting against wind and rain.
The sweatband is made of COOLMAX® fabric. COOLMAX® fabric is a 100% polyester material that absorbs water, dries quickly, and provides UV protection (UPF 40).
The most distinctive feature is the shape of the bill. The bill is angled differently in the front, back and the sides.
It is a very unique hat that you can arrange the shape and the way you wear it according to the situation and your preference.
