Gaya Roll Top B-Grid Mesh
The Gaya by CAYL, a garage brand leading the U.L hiking scene in Korea, is a backpack that can be used for town use, day hiking, and even long distance hiking for UL hikers.
It's a good size for day hikes, but with the mesh pockets and standard bungee cords on the bottom, minimalist hikers can enjoy it for overnight hikes in the summer mountains.
There are not many backpacks in the 18-22L size range that offer a good balance between usability and good looks.
The main material used is CAYL B-GRID FABRIC. It has a large mesh pocket on the outside that is easy to use. It weighs only 416g, which is very light and perfect. It also has hooks to prevent it from sagging, so the outer pocket doesn't spread out too much. It's also great for people like myself who are too lazy to put everything in the outer pocket, including bottles and snacks.
The bungee cord on the outside of the pocket can be used to tuck in a mat or outerwear. A removable foam pad is standard on the back. It can also be used as a mat or sub-mat when taking a break. Of course, if the size fits, you can change the mat to your own preference. An internal zippered pocket is provided for storing valuables.
You can also add the included optional buckle to the webbing belt of the shoulder strap.
If you fasten it in the front, it can be used like two chest straps like a trekking pack. When fastened at the back, it can be used like a compression belt to reduce swaying of the pack.
The shoulder harness is also thick enough to be used by people who want to try to reduce the weight of their backpacks.
