UDD (ULTRA DRY DOWN) is a high quality and highly functional down with super water repellent treatment applied to the down itself in order to solve the weakness of conventional down against water. Down and water-repellent resin are bonded together at the molecular level to create a wall of microscopic particles that prevent water from entering. It is an optimal down that "lets moisture through but does not absorb it," making it difficult to get wet, compact, and lightweight. It remains light and warm even when wet from rain, snow, or condensation. Strong resilience reduces inflation time and quickly protects you from the cold.
Trapezoidal box quilt construction
The trapezoidal box quilt structure prevents the feathers from tipping over and reduces weight. The boxes support each other to maximize the loft of the down, reduce heat dissipation due to unevenness, and efficiently retain heat.
Foot Box

Draft tube
