Based in Kagoshima, Kyushu, Akihiro Woodworks is run by a family of three: Noboru Akihiro (father), Jin Akihiro (eldest son), and Taku Akihiro (third son). Akihiro Woodworks uses wood produced in Kagoshima, Japan, and produces all handmade woodworks by the three of them.
JINCUP" is one of the representative works of Akihiro Jin, a woodworker, and it is a simple yet tasteful cup that you will want to keep using for a long time.
It is made by hollowing out a tabunoki (Japanese bay tree), which grows abundantly in Kagoshima Prefecture, and the hand-carved marks, which immediately show that a lot of effort has been put into it, make us what to grip it constantly.
The rim of the cup is thin and carefully finished, and when you put your lips on it, you will immediately feel comfortable drinking from this cup.
Since natural materials are processed by hand, there are individual differences in the grain and surface of each piece of wood. Some have knots, some are not uniform in color, some are darker, and some are lighter. Please take it as the individuality of the wood and enjoy each encounter.

Precautions for use
The product is coated with a special resin that meets the Food Sanitation Law in Japan.
The smell of wood and lacquer may be present at the beginning of use, but it will fade as you use it. If it bothers you, take it out of the box and leave it in a well-ventilated place for a few days.
If you are using the cup for the first time, or if the cup is extremely cold, pouring liquid close to 100 degrees Celsius may cause the coating to crack, discolor, or distort. Pour lukewarm water into the cup and let it sit for 2 to 3 minutes before use.
When washing, use common kitchen detergent.
Do not use in ovens, microwave ovens, dishwashers, or leave in water for long periods of time.
